The communal in the works of Luīze Nežberte, Julia Zastava and Bianca Phos

In the last show of the three-part exhibition series „On Community“, three artists come together to negotiate the surrounding (studio) space in different ways. Luīze Nežberte’s, Julia Zastava’s and Bianca Phos’ works are all based in drawing and installation, deconstructing the traditional separation of media in their spatial and physical qualities. The pieces on display share formal characteristics such as the play of opacity and transparency, thus creating opportunities for empty space.
